Terms of Service

These terms set the conditions for using the SleepBit sleep and snoring tracker app ("the app") and this website, provided by Ryan logic. Inc ("we", "us"). By installing the app or signing in you agree to these terms.

1. The service

The app uses your phone's microphone and sensors to record sound and movement during sleep and provides a sleep journal, reports, 7-day challenges and guides. Some features are free and some are paid (subscription or prepaid pass). We may change or stop parts of the service and will announce important changes in advance.

2. Accounts and age

• You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure.
• You must be at least 14 years old to sign up.
• Using someone else's account or abusing the service may lead to restrictions.
• You can delete your account and data in the app (Profile > Account management) or as described in Delete your account and data.

3. Your responsibilities

• The app records through the microphone all night, so other people's voices in the same room may be captured. If anyone shares the room, check whether local law requires their consent and tell them. Recordings are stored on your device only by default.
• Do not attack the app or servers, send excessive requests or otherwise disrupt the service.
• Do not copy or redistribute the app's or website's content without permission.

4. Health information disclaimer

Sleep scores, sleep stages, snoring counts, suspected breathing-pause indicators and the guides are wellness information for reference, based on estimates from phone sensors. They are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease and are not medical advice; they do not replace a clinician's judgement. If you are worried about your health or someone has seen you stop breathing during sleep, talk to a clinician. In an emergency do not use the app; contact emergency services immediately. 5. Free use and ads

Free users may see an ad before the morning analysis result. How data is processed for ads is described in the Privacy Policy. Subscribers see no ads.

6. Paid services, payment, cancellation and refunds

• Paid services come as a monthly or yearly subscription (renews automatically) or a 1-year prepaid pass (does not renew). Price, period and renewal interval are shown on the purchase screen.
• Payment is made through Google Play. Google Play handles your payment details and we never receive them.
• A subscription renews automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. A prepaid pass does not renew automatically.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy and applicable consumer protection law. You can request a refund through Google Play; if you need help, contact Support.
• We keep payment records for the period required by law.

7. Your data

You keep your rights to the sleep records and recordings you create. We process them only as needed to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

Rights in the app, website, logo, guides and images belong to us or the rightful owners. You may use them only as the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. Recording or alarms may be missed depending on your phone (power saving, microphone state, alarm settings). To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from decisions you make based on the information in the service, except for loss caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Alarms are a convenience; use another alarm for important appointments.

10. Ending use

You may stop using the app and ask for deletion at any time. We may restrict use if these terms are breached.

11. Changes and governing law

If we change these terms we will tell you at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that are less favourable to you). These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are heard by the competent court under applicable law.
